[Azul blinks in surprise, clearly not having expected this gesture before he looks away, a little awkward and embarrassed now as he huffs.]

[And yet, he notably doesn't attempt to retrieve and pull that salad back over to his side of the table. Instead, Azul's looking at the dish that's in front of him now with a rather unreadable expression, until after a rather long beat for someone to be staring at their food, he finally picks up his silverware as he sighs.]

[So he takes a bite, and despite the fact that all he's doing is eating, there is in fact a noticeable difference immediately. Whether that be via actually catching the way his eyes light up a little more, or that his next bite after is much quicker than the halting, reluctant speed he was eating at before, it's still pretty obvious that Azul is in fact enjoying the taste of this more than he had that salad.]
Emerald eyes watches Azul eat for a moment and he's rather satisfied with the results. He doesn't really understand this whole 'calorie count' thing the octopus has going on, but even he knows what Azul is doing isn't healthy. Leona's no poster child when it comes to healthy eating habits, but he doesn't actively starve himself either like what Azul seems to be doing.
The fact the octopus seems more delighted eating the meat dish speaks volumes, too. Good.]

It's not the best thing he's ever eaten in his life, of course, but he can understand immediately why this restaurant has had modest success with it upon tasting this particular dish. There's a good flavor to it thanks to the way the meat was cooked and the seasonings that were chosen by the chefs to accompany it. Normally he might have even started talking about it out loud if Floyd and Jade had been here to listen so that they could offer their own opinions on whether it's something worth replicating for the Lounge. But since they're not here and he's in the company of Leona instead, he doesn't, staying quietly focused on his meal instead.
Not that the salad didn't have any flavor either, exactly, but given that he eats so many other foods that are supposed to be "healthy" calorie-conscious meals so frequently, he has to quietly concede at least to himself that he does get sick of the taste after a while. The truth of the matter is that Azul, despite his needling at Leona for it a second ago, has always enjoyed meat more than vegetables himself. Probably not to the exact same degree Leona does but put a plate of fried chicken in front of him and there's a good chance that Azul would have it polished off within seconds.
